TV Week Scans
Esther Anderson's split from former co-star and Sea Patrol newbie Conrad Coleby has left her revealing in single life. "No, there's no love in my life at the moment. Love of Home and Away is all there is!" Esther, who plays cop Charlie on the beachside soap, says, "I'm loving my job; I'm happy and I'm in a good place. It's a really good time for me to be able to focus on my career and Home and Away solely, because I got the nomination and I want to do a good job; I want to up to this! I'm amazed and excited that this is all happening in my career at the moment, and it's really nice to be concentrating on me."
Although she's taking time to focus on herself, Esther admits she hasn't ruled out looking for a Logies romance. "I'll tell you what, I think all the boys will be looking pretty cute in their suits, but I'm not looking for anyone in particular" she laughs. As a Gold Logie nominee, Esther is able to take a date to the awards, with the actress revealing she'll be walking the red carpet with a man on her arm! "I'm taking my dad," she says. "It was so hard to decide, because I thought one of my parents would at some point say the other one should go - but they both wanted to go! I was almost going to toss a coin, but then I decided it's be nice to take my dad."
Proving the male attention is never far away from the Summer Bay beauty, one guy with his eyes on Esther at TV Week's glam shot was network stablemate Hugh Sheridan. "In this industry you meet a lot of gorgeous actresses," the Packed to the Rafters hunk gushes. "But just every now and then, you see one - like Esther Anderson - who's just so effortlessly gorgeous, and you just think, 'Wow!'". (Special thanks to Julie for scanning the articles. It's much appreciated!)

52nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards
Didn't Esther look gorgoeus at the 52nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards? She was dressed by Lisa Ho in an elegant rose shade long dress that really looked amazing on her. It was so lovely to see her dad Jack as her date, they looked gorgeous on the red carpet. It was noted Esther was a little late too, oops! And while Esther didn't take home any awards, we all think she definitely stole the night!
More footage, clips and photos will be added to the site over the next few days and I've also added a new photo of Esther with friend and actress Jessica Marais who both attended Hamish and Andy's Logies Roast Spit last Friday. It's a wonderful shoot and hopefully we will be able to get them untagged soon. Also, in the gallery are 2 new photos that have surfaced from a photoshoot Esther did back in December.

Esther Anderson keeps it in the family
She may be the hottest single on the red carpet tonight, but any suitor hoping for a Logies encounter with Home and Away hottie and Gold Logie hopeful Esther Anderson will have to get past the man on her arm - her dad. Last Sunday, Anderson marched alongside her father, World War II veteran Jack, in Melbourne's Anzac Day parade. Now she has doubled up and asked him to accompany her to the big night tonight.Anderson split with her former boyfriend, Sea Patrol's Conrad Coleby, earlier this year but with both her parents angling for invites, there was no way the former model was going to be desperate and dateless at the Logies.
"I thought Mum would say, 'Let your dad go' or Dad would say, 'Take your mum', but they both really wanted to go, so in the end I had to make the call," Anderson says. "He was very excited about it. He was saying things like, 'I have two suits to choose between; I have a bow tie. I think he had more of a fashion crisis than I did. His shoes were polished by Tuesday, so he's sorted well before me."
Anderson suspects her father will take to the red carpet like a duck to water. "He and his fiancee go to lots of dances, so he's used to dressing up. He's quite stylish. He'll love it and be my shoulder to lean on. "I'm more likely to get starstruck than him. I get like that and can't keep my mouth shut. "Anzac Day was a time for me to be so proud of him. This week, he gets to be there for me and be proud of me. It's pretty special."
And mum Rhonda hasn't been forgotten - she's heading to the Logies after-party. "Mum took it well. She was just like 'I'm going to have to vote like crazy next year so you get nominated again'," Anderson says. "She's been the leader in the Vote for Esther campaign. She's out on the street grabbing Cats footballers saying: 'This is my daughter - vote for her!' "
Happily single, and "way too busy to be anything but at the moment", Anderson is enjoying the career high sweeping over her and says she has no expectations of taking the Gold Logie tonight. "The odds are against me, but I'm just so amazed to be part of this," she said. "It's my first Logies nomination, full stop. I would never have imagined this a couple of years ago. "I hope Ray (Meagher) gets it, but Rebecca (Gibney) is the one to beat."

Hamish & Andy's 3rd Annual Logies Spit Roast
Esther attended the 3rd Annual Logies Spit Roast hosted by Hamish and Andy in South Melbourne yesterday. She was full of laughs as they talked about the gold nominations, would Esther lend Rebecca Gibney a pair of shoes, Esther's teeth and also what she'll be wearing on the big night. The only give away was that it's a long dress. Hmm.. Bet she will look stunning no matter what. Also, it seems like there was a funny story about Esther's invite to Spit Roast. Since the boys didn't have Esther's phone number, they had to call Channel Seven Sydney and pretended to be Bruce McAvaney. It seems it worked because Esther accepted and attended!
It's less then 2 days left so remember we are asking all Esther fans in Australia to help vote for the Race for Gold. So if your Australian grab your phone and start texting "Esther" to 199 52 900 or simply call 1902 552 901. Every vote helps! These is less then 2 weeks left to the Logies and we are all very excited so keep voting!

Esther's Logies teething disaster
Esther Anderson will hit the TV Week Logie Awards red carpet with grey teeth, after a teeth whitening session went wrong. The Home and Away actress, nominated for a Gold Logie, followed a whitening session with a glass of red wine yesterday and now has grey teeth. She is frantically trying to correct the damage before her big red carpet moment on Sunday. "I thought I'd be so prepared for these Logies and so I'm going to get my teeth whitened. So I went to the dentist and...I got the (whitening) solution in the (dental) tray and did it yesterday," she explained to Hughesy and Kate.
"But I forgot (the dentist) said, 'Don't have any red wine or anything for a couple of hours'. And I've had a red wine and now my teeth are grey!" If they don't whiten up in two days she is considering rapper-style diamond grills.
