Promotional Stills

I've added 4 new promotional stills to the gallery. Two were from episodes that aired last week while two new ones appear to be for tomorrow night's episode. So it looks like we might get some Charlie scenes on Tuesday and Wednesday. Finger's crossed!


{Added Later:} I've now added new scans from this week's copy of TV Week, with special thanks to Miss Julie for scanning them for us. Esther has a photo featured on the front cover and it looks like another new photoshoot plus some news on Dancing with the Stars. Looks good!

New Design, Message from Esther

As you can see we have a new design up. I tried to work with some of the gorgeous photos from the Logie Awards but I failed miserably so second best with some fun photo shoots instead. I hope you like it. I've fixed up a lot of broken links, added some new pages and re-coded the news section. Also, recently it seems Miss Esther herself dropped by the site and left a lovely message. I've added it below for those who miss it on the tag board as the more messages we get on the tag board, it over-rides the older ones so here it is... We really appreciate your support of the site, Esther and many thanks for your sweet words!

Hi everyone, its Esther here... i just wanted to say hello and firstly the BIGGEST THANKYOU to everyone who was voting for me for the logies! And a very special thankyou to Mel and Hayley for this website and encouraging everyone to support me.!! im so grateful and flattered by the effort you all went to! Regardless of the result i had an amazing night and it was just a huge honour to be even considered for an award. So thankyou thankyou thankyou to everyone! Im also sure it all helped me get picked for dwts too so im looking fwd to that next! Some fans have written letters lately and bw h and a and dancing training i have very lil spare time to get back to anyone...so apologies but i thought this would be a great way to say hi and thanks and tell you that i feel so flattered that you have dedicated a site to me! you have done an amazing job with it and i appreciate everyones very kind comments. Still loving home and away and i wont be dissapearing while im doing the dancing tho i am hoping i dont get hit with too big a storyline just when the comp starts! hope your all well. Photoshoot for Dancing with the Stars

The new cast of Dancing with the Stars did it's first photo shoot recently and behind the scenes were The Morning Show. Esther looked amazing in a red sequined dress not to mention all the other contestants. It's going to be a great season. There is no official word yet when Series 10 will start to air on Channel 7 but as soon as we find out we will post it here. EA.net will try to cover all the footage and publicity from the Series but please note it will be delayed as we aren't always able to get footage straight away but we will do out best! Anyways, you can watch the photo shoot behind the scenes HERE on our You Tube page.

Also, you will notice that updates have been a little far and in between lately and it's not because there isn't much happening with Esther but the fact I'm trying to work on some new designs for the site and this takes a little bit of time so I've got a few things going on at once. However, I have finally caught up-to-date with all the recent episodes of Home and Away and will be adding all the screen caps over the next few days so keep checking back because I also have other photos from different events to add too!

Official Announcement - Dancing with the Stars

It's official! Channel Seven announced the exciting line-up for their hit show Dancing With The Stars. Taking to the floor, putting their dancing skills to the ultimate test and with their sights firmly set on taking home the coveted mirror ball trophy for Series 10 and Esther is in the mix!

Each celebrity will be dancing to raise funds for their favourite charity. Daniel MacPherson and Sonia Kruger are back as hosts and who knows what they will get up to this year! Also returning to the judging seats, the sometimes harsh, but mostly honest and endearing judges, Todd McKenney, Helen Richey and Mark Wilson.

The weekly live show will combine scores from the judges plus the viewer vote to determine who hangs up their dancing shoes or who will be the Dancing With The Stars Champion for 2010.

Your Dancing With The Stars dancing duos are: Esther Anderson – dancing with Brendon Midson. Her popularity as policewoman Charlie Buckton on Channel Seven’s longest running drama series Home and Away earned Esther a Gold Logie nomination this year. Prior to joining the series, Esther was a successful international model. In 2009 she won Cosmo Woman of The Year.

Dancing With The Stars returns soon to Channel Seven. Dancing With The Stars is the smash-hit BBC format that has been seen in more than 75 countries around the world. It is a Freehand production for Channel 7 and BBC Worldwide. Congratulations, Esther

Dancing with the Stars

Channel Seven is still to announce the celeb line-up for this year's Dancing With The Stars, but the list of likelys is rapidly taking shape. Word is AFL footy WAG Alex Fevola is on the short list, along with former Miss Universe contender Rachael Finch and Packed To The Rafters star George Houvardas.

The shoo-in for a spot should be Home and Away's Esther Anderson, a firm favourite with Seven, who confessed to Insider she has made no secret of her desire to be on the show. "I keep hearing I'm picked to do it and I've made it pretty well-known that's what I'd like to do," Anderson said.

"At the races last year I was in a marquee when some dancers started performing. Someone said I'd better join them. I jumped in, freestyling and improvising. Then I realised that I was actually the only guest up there, so I just treated it as if it was a potential audition."

The Matty Johns Show

Home and Away star Esther Anderson was a red carpet winner at the Logie awards last weekend and tomorrow night brings some glamour to The Matty Johns Show as she prepares to battle it out for the coveted Are Your Smarter Than A Footballer prize. She might have missed out on the Gold Logie to her veteran cast mate Ray Meagher, but Anderson will be aiming to pick up her game for a win against I Love You Too actor and footy fanatic Brendan Cowell.

Also in the studio this week will be Manly players George Rose and David Williams, while Mark Geyer returns to Controversy Corner. Don Kirk goes troppo in North Queensland when he visits Cowboys playmaker Johnathan Thurston; Harry Hardman debates the NRL versus the AFL in a bid to keep Israel Folau in the code; Nathan Merritt gives us a tour of his hometown of Redfern; and Alby seeks out the Cowboys. The Matty Johns Show is on Thursday at 7.30pm on Seven (Only in NSW and QLD)

TV Week Scans

Esther Anderson's split from former co-star and Sea Patrol newbie Conrad Coleby has left her revealing in single life. "No, there's no love in my life at the moment. Love of Home and Away is all there is!" Esther, who plays cop Charlie on the beachside soap, says, "I'm loving my job; I'm happy and I'm in a good place. It's a really good time for me to be able to focus on my career and Home and Away solely, because I got the nomination and I want to do a good job; I want to up to this! I'm amazed and excited that this is all happening in my career at the moment, and it's really nice to be concentrating on me."

Although she's taking time to focus on herself, Esther admits she hasn't ruled out looking for a Logies romance. "I'll tell you what, I think all the boys will be looking pretty cute in their suits, but I'm not looking for anyone in particular" she laughs. As a Gold Logie nominee, Esther is able to take a date to the awards, with the actress revealing she'll be walking the red carpet with a man on her arm! "I'm taking my dad," she says. "It was so hard to decide, because I thought one of my parents would at some point say the other one should go - but they both wanted to go! I was almost going to toss a coin, but then I decided it's be nice to take my dad."

Proving the male attention is never far away from the Summer Bay beauty, one guy with his eyes on Esther at TV Week's glam shot was network stablemate Hugh Sheridan. "In this industry you meet a lot of gorgeous actresses," the Packed to the Rafters hunk gushes. "But just every now and then, you see one - like Esther Anderson - who's just so effortlessly gorgeous, and you just think, 'Wow!'". (Special thanks to Julie for scanning the articles. 52nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards

Didn't Esther look gorgoeus at the 52nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards? She was dressed by Lisa Ho in an elegant rose shade long dress that really looked amazing on her. It was so lovely to see her dad Jack as her date, they looked gorgeous on the red carpet. It was noted Esther was a little late too, oops! And while Esther didn't take home any awards, we all think she definitely stole the night!

More footage, clips and photos will be added to the site over the next few days and I've also added a new photo of Esther with friend and actress Jessica Marais who both attended Hamish and Andy's Logies Roast Spit last Friday. It's a wonderful shoot and hopefully we will be able to get them untagged soon. Also, in the gallery are 2 new photos that have surfaced from a photoshoot Esther did back in December.

Red Carpet at the Logies

It's time. Esther is on the red carpet at the 52nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards and she looks stunning in a Lisa Ho design. Photos are being added to the gallery as they become avaliable so please keep checking the gallery!

LATER ADDED: Unfortunately, Esther didn't take home the Silver Logie as it went to Rebecca Gibney but there is still hope with the Gold Logie so keep watching this space. Congratulations, Rebecca!

LATER ADDED MORE: Unfortunately, Kate Bell didn't take home her Logie award either but good news is that Luke Mitchell took home an award for Best Male Newcomer so that's one for Home and Away. Congratulations, Luke! Gold Logie should be coming up within Half an Hour. I will post when it's annouced. Also, photos and footage will be on the site later. It's 7am here so I'll try my best when I wake up but it will be on sooner or later, I promise!

GOLD LOGIE: Is official in the hands of Ray Meagher. Congratulations, Ray. This award was so well deserved. If Esther couldn't take it home we are glad you did. Your a wonderful actor and it's great to see after 22 years your hard work paid off!
