Various Updates

There have been a few updates over the past few days Esther was down in Geelong yesterday where she popped into her old school, Belmont High School in aid of Back to School Day. She had a tour of the school, met some students and answered a few questions. Here's a small segment from an interview...

Home and Away star Esther Anderson returned to her roots yesterday as she toured Belmont High School. The actress made a whirlwind visit to Geelong to be part of the school's Back to School Day. Anderson said she was shocked at how much the school had changed since she graduated 12 years ago.

"It's great to be back, it is quite unreal to see how much the school has changed," she said. "It's so impressive, it has blown me away. They have a media room which has been decked out in film stuff. I would love to be at the school now. Although I couldn't find my bearings." She said she was shocked to see some of her old teachers at the school. "Back when I was at school they used to be teachers, but they have moved up the ranks and are now assistant principals," Anderson said. "I feelt like I have to be on my best behaviour when I am here otherwise the teachers might tell me off."

Anderson was shocked to see herself in an old year book. "I can't believe I had blonde curly hair. I look so different," she said. "It feels like it was so long ago that I was here." Ms Anderson is busy preparing for Dancing with the Stars which stats in three week's time. "I have been hassling people to go on the show since it has started. I just love it," she said. "Last week I did 20 hours of dancing practice as well as my work for Home and Away.

"I seem to have an endless supply of energy when I am doing things I love." She said she was working hard to get all the dances ready for when the show airs. "We are doing a lot of practice to make sure we are ready, but the dances are quite difficult," Anderson said. "I thought the stuff I did with the Rock Eisteddfod would help, but sometimes I feel like I have two left feet."

Dancing with the Stars promo

Channel 7 have released their first promotional ad for Dancing with the Stars. It looks really cool and Esther is featured towards the end and a few spots in the background but hopefully more footage will become available soon. We've been hearing rumors that it will start to air as soon as Australia's Got Talent wraps up which is rather soon so that's all very exciting!

Episode 5087 Screen Captures

We had a few Charlie scenes last night on Home and Away so the screen captures are now in the gallery. Just a heads up that updates are going to be a little limited over the next few days as I'm using a different laptop so it's taking a bit getting used to and has different graphic programs then I normally use so just the heads up for ya'll.

Episode 5086 Screen Captures

Screen captures from last night's episode of Home and Away are now in the gallery. There was a fair bit of screen time for Esther although it looks like she won't be on again until later in the week now judging from the previews. Also, lots have been asking about the footage from The Matty Johns Show. I'm working really hard at getting the clips online for you but the audio and videos don't match up so I'm in the process of trying a new program. Hopefully tomorrow we will have it online!

Style and Beauty at any age

I finally found 2 photos of Esther on the red carpet for Sydney's premiere of Sex and the City. She wore gorgeous bluish gray dress that was off the shoulder on one side and had a 3/4 sleeve on the other. She looked amazing. Hoping more photos surface soon. It was a fun movie! Also, special thanks to Beck we have some great scans of Esther in a photo shoot for New Idea who did an article on Style and Beauty at any age any featured Esther in their 30s section. She looks so natural and gorgeous. You can also read some of her tips and favourite fashion ideas.

Bay of Love Promo

There is a new Bay of Love promo now playing in Australia featuring Charlie and Angelo. I've added the video to our Youtube channel along with screen captures in the gallery. You can watch the video promo HERE. Also, there is a new promotional still for Monday night's episode in the gallery. Special thanks to Seb for encoding the video for us so we could all watch it. Much appreciated.

It was mentioned that Esther would attend the premiere of Sex and the City in Sydney last night with co-stars Luke Jacobz and Ada Nicodemou but at the moment no pictures have surfaced of Esther. Unfortunately, there won't be any updates on the site until Tuesday as it's Memorial Day weekend here in the U.S. and I'm off camping, so the land of no internet! Many more updates coming your way next week!

Kyle & Jackie O Guests

It seems that Esther and co-star Luke Jacobz have stopped into the radio stations again to visit Kyle and Jackie O. Thanks to Abby we have a new photo of the group in the studios. Does this mean they did a new radio interview? Here's hoping. If anything pops up, I'll be sure to post!

{Edit:} Esther and Luke actually did a new interview yesterday morning. I'm currently downloading the interview and will have it on the site within 2-3 hours as I need to run some errands but it's coming and how exciting. A new interview. We all know Esther and Luke together can be hilarious so look forward to seeing what the new interview offers us.


{Later:} Thanks for being patient while I was out running some errands. I've added the audio but unfortunately the program I use to cut the files wouldn't co-operate so it's the whole podcast but it's worth a listen either way. Esther and Luke's interview starts from 4:40. They talk about Dancing with the Stars, Esther's competitive streak, a little about the current Home and Away storyline regarding Hugo and they take calls from listeners which sparks a little mention of Kate Bell (Joey) for all you CJ fans but it was great to hear Luke and Esther back on the radio. They are great together! You can listen to the podcast HERE or to download the poadcast, right click and then click "Save Target As.."

Also, I've added screen caps from last night's episode. We got some great scenes and Esther is looking great. Hope we keep getting more and more scenes. Plus for those who wanted to know about the white/gold dress Charlie wore 2 nights about, it was purchased from an Australian shop called Seduce. Although the OS stated that clothes are brought 3 months in advance so it might not be available anymore.

Promotional Stills & Matty Johns Videos

I've added 3 new promotional photos to the gallery for tomorrow night's episode of Home and Away. It looks like it's going to be good plus there is also a small sneak peak of Charlie on the official site if you want to check it out. Many of you will know last night I mentioned clips from The Matty Johns Show, they are still coming. It seems when they have uploaded to Youtube the sound has disappeared on one while the other one has no video footage so bear with me while I try and sort out the issues.


{Added Later:} Just watched the latest episode so there are now screen captures available in the gallery. How gorgeous was the white and gold dress? I know a few people commented on it but I hadn't seen it until now. Definitely, one of my favourites. Also, from the preview for the next episode it looks like we have a few more Charlie scenes coming up!
