Esther set for Dancefloor Fling

Apologies for the lack of updates, life is crazy and it seems this week will get even crazier but thankfully it will be updates that are crazy as there is a lot of Esther goodies coming this way. She will appear on Deal or No Deal on Tuesday, June 22 which airs on Channel 7 at 5.30pm and then she will make her debut dancing performance on Sunday, June 27 on Dancing with the Stars. You would think after dancing daily for the past five weeks Dancing with the Stars contestant Esther Anderson would take a breather whenever she gets a chance. But the stunning Home and Away star spent the weekend carving up Sydney's dance floors in celebration of her 31st birthday. "We went to The Corner House in Bondi," Anderson said. "My dance partner (Brendon Midson) ended up coming with me and we danced the night away."

After the media whirlwind surrounding her Gold Logie nomination, Anderson's feet barely touched the ground with dance rehersals starting the week after TV's night or nights. Midson has been busy teaching the Geelong actress ballroom and Latin steps in preparation for the series launch next Sunday. "I've learn't two danced in five weeks and I will end up having to learn one dance a week and then two dances a week if I'm still in it," Anderson said. "I'm worried I'm going to have a brain freeze... I'm actually getting quite petrified."

Anderson described her hectic life as "early mornings and late nights". "Yesterday I was up at 4.30am to go to Palm Beach and was there until midday," she said. "I had dance rehersal from 1pm to 5pm then I had to get on a plane to Melbourne for a publicity shoot and now I'm back at Home and Away," she said on Thursday. "It's full on." Massages and helth supplements are helping with the workload.

"One of my birthday presents was a survival kit for dancing with vitamins, rescue remedies and fish oil," Anderson said. "The day after a big session my body feels like I've been hit by a bus." The outgoing brunette said she hit a rough patch during the second week of training. "I didn't last very long before I had a meltdown," she laughed. "I felt like I was a four-year-old again, I couldn't take on any more information."

Anderson's highs and lows will be broadcast across the nation with cameras filming her every move. "Your personality comes out, people are going to see the real me," she said. Keep an eye out for Anderson on Tuesday's Deal or no Deal with the former "Dealette" competitng for a home viewer.

The Matty Johns Show Clips

After a lot of audio and stitching problems, I've finally been able to upload clips from Esther's appearance on The Matty Johns Show. Please note that the audio might be a little off in some parts and the quality isn't HQ but it's watchable and the best I can manage. Both her parts have been stitched together to make one video. Dancing with the Deals

Get ready for a spectacular week of Dancing with the Deals. It’s that time of year again for Deal or No Deal’s Dancing with the Deals. Celebrating the return of Seven’s hit TV show Dancing with the Stars, five of Dancing’s celebrities will be in the Deal-a-Drome doing battle with the banker. Esther is one of the confirmed dancers to be a contestant, the show begins Monday, June 21 on Channel 7. It's said Esther is a little nervous, "Absoultely, there's more pressure because your dealing with someone else's money. If you've only got yourself to blame, then you just deal with it, but if you're playing for someone else, you feel guilty every time the amount gets lower and lower." It's also a special reunion for Esther...

For Home and Away favourite Esther, walking on to the set of Deal of No Deal was a homecoming of sorts, as the former model used to be a Dealette herself. "I worked as a Deal girl for about three year, on and off between other jobs," she tells TV Week. In fact, Esther's case choice all came down to a familiar face. "When I walked out the back just before we started, I saw [Dealette] Jen and quickly checked which number case she was, because I wanted to pick someone I knew," she reveals.

So did Esther's prior inside knowledge of the show give her any advantage with her nerves or strategy? Not according to the star. "I had a strategy, but then it all went out the window!" the actress reveals. "I knew what my favourite numbers were and I had meant to leave those till last, thinking they would have more money in them but I ended up choosing them early and they did have more money in them! It's funny; you go through all these different emotions - you feel like you're a winner, then you feel like you're losing, and then I felt like I was winning again. But I still could've done better!

Also, it's been confirmed that Dancing with the Stars will go live on Sunday, June 27 from the Melbourne studios. We will have clips and screen captures available on the site within 48 hours after each episode, with special thanks to Seb who has offered to clip Esther's sections for us. It seem's like Esther's got a great partner to work with on the show too and his treating her really well..

Don't expect single Esther, 31, to hook up with her dancing partner Brandon Midson. When we asked the Home and Away starlet if there were any romantic sparks between her and the professional dancer, she answered emphatically, "No, no, no, no, no!" But that's not to say she doesn't think the world of the man teaching her to tango. He's great - I'm so greatful I got him," she beams. "He gave me a foot massage the other day - my feet were killing me - and he's rubbing my feet and rubbing my calves and he broguht me muesli bars, mints and Bandaids. Everything I needed, he had."

Cosmopolitian Fun, Fearless, Female Awards

It's that time of year again, time for the Cosmopolitan Fun, Fearless, Female Awards and voting has just kicked off. Esther is nominated in the TV Actress category alongside her young co-star Tessa James. Last year, Esther won the category and we would love to see her win again this year. WAMCARE Charity Auction

I had a lovely email this morning about a charity that Esther has recently supported and I would like to post some information about it because I think it's truly a great cause and I want to offer my own support. The charity is called WAMCARE and they currently have a charity auction online for the past few months to benefit biomedical ME/CFS research. They have already raised a lot of money by auctioning off signed items from celebrities and Esther was kind enough to donate several fancards and a poster.

You can bid on the last of the Home and Away fancards signed by Esther on EBAY until June 12th by clicking HERE and early next week they will be putting up a poster of the cast of Home and Away which is signed by many of the cast including Esther. So please check out the links especially the charity because it's a wonderful cause and such a great opportunity! Extended DWTS Promo

Channel 7 have released a new promo for Dancing with the Stars which now features all the individual performers names. Also, they are starting to air individual promos and we hear Esther has her own commercial to promote the series so look out for it. As soon as we get it, we will upload it. Word is that the series will start the first week of July!
