Message from Esther

What a great way to kick start a new day and week with a lovely message from Esther. She stopped by the site earlier to leave everyone a message and once again thank you for taking the time out to visit, Esther. We really appreciate hearing from you and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for you. To everyone who hasn't read the message, you can read it below... I will have more updates coming later today for you all including screen captures from Dancing with the Stars and also trying to catch up on missing Home and Away episodes so hang in there guys, updates are coming soon!

Hello everyone... i just wanted to send the biggest hello and thankyou for your incredible support. To Hayley and Mel a very very special thankyou girls again for this website and for how amazing it. dance my way to week 7 with Brendon. Of course it was awful leaving but because of all the support i got to experience 7 incredible weeks of it! It was sithout a doubt one of the best experiences of my life.!!! Love Brendon to bits... we are going to have a lazy lunch together Wed (my first day off in 9 weeks!!! yeah) i miss him already.. and i adore all the others on the show too! There were plenty of tears at the speeches afterwards and thismorning on set at home and away.. had a 10 hour day today... very very lil sleep..haha and most of all.. i had a bloody ball! not a mirror ball... but still had a ball. ha ha. Once again big gig thankyou for everything... hope to have lots more exciting things in the future... few changes for charlie coming up which will be fun! and thats about it..big love. Esther x

Farewell Esther & Brendon

Taking on the Jive and Viennese Waltz, Esther and Brendon just couldn't seem to impress the judges tonight but we thought they were great. They got a total of 37 points which landed then 2nd last it's unfortunately time to say goodbye! You did proud, Esther and Brendon! Thank you to everyone who voted and supported Esther and Brendon, we know it meant a great deal to them and we are all looking forward to their return to the dance floor in the upcoming finale in a few weeks time. Thanks for the dancing memories, Esther and Brendon!

Esther Anderson became the sixth contestant voted out of Dancing With the Stars in a surprise elimination. Despite her popularity and strong form in the competition, Esther conceded it wasn’t her best night. "I was horribly nervous," she said during tonight’s special 80s tribute show. Her two dance routines left the judges underwhelmed. "It didn’t take off for me," Mark said of her Jive. While her Viennese Waltz moved the audience, it only scored 20 points from the judges.

The Home and Away beauty was gracious in defeat stating, "I have wanted to do this show for many years. It exceeded my expectations. I had so much fun. It’s disappointing to go but it’s great to have got this far. I’ve made so many new friends and raised money for my charity Beyond Blue." She also paid tribute to her dance partner Brendon Midson, calling him, "The best partner, teacher and friend."

Radio Appearance

Esther did a radio interview yesterday for a Brisbane radio station. She talked about her love for acting as a police officer, how she got started in the studio with Deal or No Deal, what it's like on Dancing with the Stars and all about the costumes plus she spoke about Home and Away and which is better to wear: police boots or dancing heels.. Magazine Scans

Esther has a poster featured in TV Week this week along with her character on Home and Away being mentioned in an article plus Esther is also featured in Woman's Day magazine along with the other female dancing celebrities about weight loss. It's an interesting article to read and features a gorgeous new photo of Esther. Special thanks to Elissa for sending in the scans. Studio & Promo DWTS Photos

First off, my biggest apologies that we don't yet have a copy of Esther and Brendon's latest dance online from Dancing with the Stars. It was estimated earlier that it wouldn't be online for at least another 24 hrs but lucky enough it just turned up in my email so hopefully another hour and we will all be able to watch it again and again and again. Thank you to all you are so patient.

Also, there were a few problems during the week and Hayley and I would just like to take a moment to thank all the fans that have supported us on everything both on our Facebook Group and Esther Anderson Network. Your support to both Esther and to us is greatly appreciated. We love bringing you the latest news and photos on Esther. A special thank you goes out Laura, Lisa, Lou, Debbie and Andrew, seriously you guys made our week with such positive attitude, comments and ideas. Thanks so much.

Esther through to Round 7!

Esther and Brendon are safe and through to the next round of Dancing with the Stars. They danced the Aussie Smooth which was set up very creatively by Brendon and covered 3 generations of dance era plus 3 costumes changes in 90 seconds. Amazing. They just keep getting better and better. Unfortunately, the judges didn't agree but still with a score of 21 points, we are very proud of them. They took out 3rd place on the leader board and are coming back next week with not one dance but TWO dances. Great work, Esther and Brendon.

Esther dives into final eight

A new article on Esther and her thoughts with the whole competition on Dancing with the Stars. Please VOTE for Esther, especially if your in Australia. Esther Anderson has likened her Dancing With The Stars experience to sky-diving. "It's a sensory overload," she said. "You're flying and when it's over, you can't remember what you did." The Geelong actress has made it through five weeks of the celebrity dance competition but said she still gets nervous before taking to the floor.

"You're on the stairs and there's nothing you can do to get rid of the nerves," she said. "I've never done anything live before and you've got every opportunity to make mistakes." Last week Anderson rehearsed for 30 hours, in addition to filming Home and Away, and has formed strong bonds with the other dancers.

"We all stay at the same hotel and it's like we're on dance camp together," she laughed. "We'll have dinner together on the Saturday night and on Sunday after the show." Anderson said she was glad the media frenzy about her declining weight had died down. "I hope everyone is back concentrating on my dancing," she said.

Photo Gallery Now OFFLINE!

As you know we uploaded some photos earlier and while we deleted a few of them for personal reasons but it seems that a certain few are going against out wishes and displaying the photos on other websites and forums. We asked specifically that they NOT be taken from this site as they were exclusive. As our wish has been abused, we will be closing the gallery until further notice and all photos that we add in the future will be TAGGED. We are sorry we have to do this but we did ask just a little favour and someone had to spoil it so we are sorry but until further notice the photo gallery is offline
